New at MelyndaMade

At MelyndaMade I strive to ensure that the patterns I use have a classic look, are comfortable and suit my fabric choices.

I recently had the chance to test a new pattern for Fresh Stitch Patterns, The Playgroup Romper. You may recognise the name as this is the compliment of the Playgroup Dress - are you imagining big sister little sister combinations - I am too, so this is in the pipeline.

Mums, Dads and carers are all after a quick change of clothes to accommodate a poo explosion, use of a stinky public rest room or the elder child causing a commotion at the breakfast table or in the middle of toilet training. I use 3 snaps at the back of the romper and on the crotch are to ensure you can be as speedy as possible.

My bubba uses disposable nappies so the full nature of the romper more than accommodates these. Pattern testers who use Modern Cloth Nappies reported great coverage so I am excited that this will allow your bubbas to look amazing too if you use these nappies.

I strongly believe "just add tights" to most outfits and you can wear then all year. The addition of long sleeves or a cardi and tights will be super cute in the cooler weather and get you more value from your handmade purchase.

One of the main reasons I am drawn to this romper is that the bodice allows me to showcase main features of fabric so this allows me to use some very special out of print fabrics for you.

You will see a lot more of these in the coming months and definitely some big sister little sister combinations which are perfect for those special occasions, but also everyday like in our household.

I hope you enjoy these rompers as much as I am and if you have any special requests then get in touch.

Enjoy your day and the ones you love,

Melynda.
